Spacechains – One-way pegged sidechains for Bitcoin
Spacechains are permissionless sidechains that are tied to the value of Bitcoin via a one-way peg. All of the value goes directly to existing Bitcoin holders (unlike altcoins), and all fees go to Bitcoin miners. Use cases are stablecoins, NFTs, federated pegs, low-value payments, DNS, and more.

Backup of cryptosecure data
The classic wallet workflow leading to ‘Please write down your secret key’ involves several considerations and options. In this one-hour workshop, we play the roles of users, consumers, producers, developers, and attackers, to study and understand the science behind backing up crypto-secure data. Each student receives a one-page tutorial as well as a pack of cold storage sheets to practice good security while backing up secret keys.

Life is short, Bitcoin is forever
What would happen to your coins if you were to die in the next three hours? Would they be lost forever? Would your relatives be able to recover them?
Don’t worry, this is not a boring talk about custodians and layers. Instead, we’ll look at some cool Bitcoin contracts that allow your relatives to recover everything in case something happens to you.

„SILENT PAYMENTS“ MINI WORKSHOP w/ RUBEN SOMSEN
Silent Payments, or non-interactive private payments, allow you to receive undetectable payments from anyone on a single static address without requiring any prior communication. This is achieved by generating a shared secret with the input of the sender and actively scanning for payments. Join this session if you’d like to learn/discuss the tradeoffs.

BITCOIN AND CYPHERPUNK VISION
Bitcoin emerged as a cypherpunk technology, and the community of cryptoanarchists formed naturally around it. Coming from these roots, Bitcoin became probably their most influential invention. But with years passing, after many waves of adoption and fluctuations in the community, the echo of cypherpunks in Bitcoin is becoming less important. With these ideals lost, where is Bitcoin heading today? Is the wider Bitcoin community even aware of the cypherpunk background of Bitcoin, the principles of early contributors, and their visions? Let’s discuss it with cypherpunks, cryptoanarchists, and OG Bitcoiners who helped shape the Bitcoin space.
